In Devon we have had a tough time with all the warm weather, frezing ,wind and so on. In preparing the skis for the Loppet I am wondering if the track setter got down to hard ice.. Is there any one I get in contact with to check on the condidtion (base ) of the ski trail. Perhaps it might be a good idea to post a note on the CSC Website giving information on the status of the race (ppossible delays) track running base condition, and any other news concerning weather, and reled bits of information as appropriate. Majority of our trails are in good enough shape thanks to our amazing trail grooming volunteers. Some of the longer distance races might have to be modified a bit however. Hope you can make it.
